Christ is risen!
Dear friends,
We are writing to inform you that on this day of feast, the Lord has called to himself our brother Fr Ignace from the community of Cogollo. Last May, Fr Ignace underwent a kidney transplant after many years of dialysis. Some days ago, he was admitted to hospital with an infection throughout his body. However, he successfully fought this and was back home. At 8.00 this morning, he suffered heart failure and the community found him already lifeless in his room. Fr. Ignace was 38 years old and today he was celebrating his fifth anniversary of Perpetual Vows. So, we rejoice that he has gone to meet the Bridegroom.
We remember him with great affection, united in prayer with Fr. Ricardo, the community of Cogollo, and his relatives in Congo.
As soon as possible, we will provide details of where and when the celebration of the “Wedding Feast of the Lamb” will take place.
Ignace, thank you for your testimony and your virtuous example. Rest in peace!
